Digital Radiography

Digital Radiography is a system where traditional dental x-rays and processing are replaced by small sensors. This system takes considerably less time to produce an image.  Exposure to radiation is significantly reduced, with only 10% of the amount of radiation being necessary to produce the image. Once an image is taken, it appears automatically on a computer screen or television and is saved into the patients chart.
